I am as excited to present this month’s featured products as I am for summer. To me, this month is all about glowing skin, pretty dresses, and beach waves. It is also the month for new and featured products. Without further a due, let me share with you some items I selected for June:
1- It Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50 Mini ($15.00)
As you know, I do buy a lot of mini items since I travel a lot, and it is also a way for me to try out the product and decide if I like it before committing to buying it in its full size. I picked up the medium shade, and it applies quite evenly on the skin. It smells very nice and citrusy, yet is not very full coverage. However, it does a good job of evening out the skin tone. I stopped wearing it since my skin got darker and the color did not match me anymore, but as my skin tone changes, I will give this product another try and wear it more often.
2- Smashbox Under Eye Primer
I have mentioned this product so many times, but I this is something I have truly been into lately. I use it all the time, and it gives very nice results. I also like dragging the product on the high points of my cheeks as a highlight primer.
3- Becca Cosmetics Moonstone Highlighter
I bought a highlighter set from Sephora a while ago, and it had the top highlight bestsellers, including this one from Becca Cosmetics. I instantly fell in love with it, and I use it almost exclusively. The color is absolutely gorgeous, it is very flattering on the skin, and gives it a natural glow. The finish feels effortless, and it is something that could be layered for more intense highlight, although the highlight is strong as is. I use it on the high points of my cheeks, under the brow, in the corners of my eyes, and on top of my Cupid’s bow.
4- Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder ($22.00)
I have been hearing about this product for the longest time ever, and to be completely honest, I still do not know how to use it. However, I do like its radiant finish and how light it is on the skin. I like to use it on top of my blush, or on my eyelids when I go for a natural makeup look.
5- Tarte H2O Gloss
I received this mini gloss when I purchased a few products online. I like the color payoff and how well it sits on the lips. It does not feel uncomfortable to wear, and it works very nicely with other products, especially liquid lipsticks.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this month’s selection, and don’t hesitate to leave a comment and let me know if you’ve used any of these items above and what you think of them.
