Product Empties

July’s Product Empties

Hello, and welcome to a new month of empties, where I share my experience with new products. So far, I have enjoyed the process of using and reviewing some of the products that I shared with you. Not only did this process give me an opportunity to experience new brands and products, but it also helped me to declutter and only keep what is necessary. My goal is to get to the point where I only keep products I enjoy and a minimalistic collection with products I know perform well. Without further a due, let me share with you this month’s five product empties.

1- First Aid Beauty Facial Cleanser

This is my first time trying out First Aid Beauty. It came in a travel-size collection, which included other mini products. When I first tried it, I noticed it contained pearlescent particles, which I assume help brighten the skin. I was not loving the smell, nor how it first irritated my skin. I guess this happened because I was introducing a new product to my skin. However, I thought it performed very well, and I was happy with how clean and fresh my skin felt after using this product.

2- Pantene Foam Conditioner

The formula feels exactly like shaving cream, except it is a lot lighter in texture. It does a good job coating the hair, and a little bit goes a long way. It could also be built up depending on hair length and thickness. I found that while this particular one does a great job giving hair more volume, it does not help moisturize the hair.

3- Caress Body Wash

I bought this item because I wanted to revisit it, as it was my product of choice a while back. It smells great, contains exfoliating particles, and the formula looks golden, which helps give the skin more shine. While it was refreshing to reuse this product, I wish it did a better job moisturizing the skin.

4- Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

Not included in the picture is the corresponding shampoo by the same brand. The duo is excellent. The shampoo is very nourishing and the conditioner is very rich and leaves the hair feeling smooth and looking shiny. I bought both products in full size after trying the travel size version, and whenever I use them together, my hair feels deep conditioned and smells like sweet caramel for days. I highly recommend this product, especially for dry and damaged hair.

5- Clarins Face Cream

Very creamy formula that instantly melts into the skin and deeply hydrates it. It is just the right consistency, does not feel irritating, and smells great. This is definitely a high-quality product, and I highly recommend it. This was the last travel size product I tried from Clarins, and overall, they did not disappoint. So far, I have had a great experience with all of their products, and I highly recommend this brand.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, and I would like to hear from you in the comments below if you’ve used any of these products, or if you have any recommendations. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any further questions about any of these products.
