Product Empties

February’s Product Empties

Hello, and welcome back to this second’s edition of my product empties, where I review five products I’ve used up this month, plus a bonus and decluttered item.

1- Cetaphil Gentle Foam Cleanser

This cleanser is very gentle on the skin, yet doesn’t do a great job deep cleaning it. I struggled a bit when trying to wash away make-up residue, as I often had to use a second cleanser, adding an extra step to my routine. Although it is great for sensitive skin, I don’t see my self re-using this product.

2- Aromatherapy Sleep Lavender Cedarwood Body Lotion

I loved using this moisturizer. The smell is wonderful and helps me fall asleep. The formula is very gentle and hydrates the skin. It did not cause any dryness or irritation. I highly recommend this product and I would re-purchase it in the future.

3- Eucerin Eczema Relief Colloidal Oatmeal Enriched Skin Protectant Cream

I highly enjoyed using this product. It worked very nicely for me, since I have dry, eczema-prone skin. The formula is very rich and instantly gets absorbed into the skin without leaving it feeling greasy. It is definitely a good choice of moisturizer for winter weather.

4- Caudalie Instant Detox Mask

This is the second detox mask I’ve used from Caudalie, and it has done such a great job with my skin. The formula is thin and dries quickly. I applied it once to twice a week and it made such a big difference. I highly recommend this product.

5- Tresemmé Hair Spray

This is the first time I’ve tried a water-based hairspray. I don’t usually like using hairsprays, since they make the hair feel brittle and extremely dry. This particular formula helped hold my hair in place without damaging it.

Bonus Item: Van Cleef & Arpels Sample perfume

I kept this travel size perfume in my purse to refresh throughout the day if I needed to. I quickly fell in love with its floral scent. It is light, yet strong and refreshing, and lasts all day. I definitely recommend this perfume.

Decluttered Item: Sephora Bronzer

I bought this item a while ago from Sephora while it was on sale. The shade is a burnt bronze orange with slight shimmer. It is very pigmented but could also be built up. I got rid of it because the top lid broke off and the powder started getting damaged.

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments below what you thought of them, or what similar products you would recommend.
